Westhaven Wildlife and Other Animal Residents
This section is dedicated to the wild and domestic animals of Westhaven.  Interesting / cute pictures of wildlife
or domestic pets are appreciated and solicited.  Short articles about your experiences with Westhaven animals are welcome also.
Send pictures or writings by e-mail to WESTHAVENWEB@AOL.COM.

These visitors are typical of animal residents arriving almost daily.  The squirrel to the left is unusual because he is a mix
between the black rock squirrels living by the Lake and the regular grey squirrels that live in trees.  The roadrunners eat
only live food but are grateful for a place to water.  The rabbit cleans up the corn particles left by the deer.  The buzzard
has a particular fondness for left over baby-back rib bones.  The deer are impatient for their morning corn ration.

Westhaven Web Mission Statement

The "Westhaven Web" is an online magazine created to serve the needs of Westhaven, a unique gated community located on the south shore of beautiful Canyon Lake in Comal County Texas.  Westhaven contains approximately 125 acres and has a resident population of about 220 persons.  Westhaven is unique among communities not only because of its' pastoral landscapes and people friendly wildlife; but, also because Westhaven is completely private with nonpublic roads and its' own water system.  Westhaven is for all practical purposes a small town.  Westhaven residents are blessed with a "do it our own way" volunteer spirit descended directly from the pioneers.  (It has been rumored that some of our residents actually were pioneers.)  We are all proud of and passionate about our community.
The Mission Statement of the "Westhaven Web" is to serve the needs of Westhaven residents by providing an electronic community center where residents can gain information about current events affecting the community and exchange information about those same events.
